Phase 2 Schedule of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections: The stage is set for the second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections, which is scheduled for April 26, following the conclusion of voting for the first phase on April 19. Polling will take place in 89 Lok Sabha constituencies, which span 12 states and one UT, during this round. Phase 2 will include the casting of votes by a number of significant states, including West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. The second round of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will have 1206 contestants from 12 States/UTs and 4 candidates from the Outer Manipur PC.2633 nominations were initially submitted for the 88 PCs spread over 12 States/UTs that would be voting in this phase. April 4, 2024, was the cutoff date for nominations in each of the 12 states and territories. Upon examination, 1428 nominations were determined to be legitimate.

Phase 1 of the Lok Sabha Election 2024: A Recap
Friday, April 19, saw the start of the first phase of the seven-phase election, with polls being taken in 102 constituencies spread over 21 states and Union territories. The greatest number of constituencies cast ballots during this phase. In the first phase of voting, more than 62% of voters had used their right to vote, with West Bengal having the highest voter turnout (81.91%), followed by Tripura (81.48%). Voter turnout in Manipur, where ethnic conflicts have occurred, was 75.17 percent.
In this phase, there were around 16.63 crore eligible voters, comprising 8.4 crore men, 8.23 crore women, and 11,371 voters who identify as third gender. 3.51 crore voters between the ages of 20 and 29 and 35.67 lakh votes were first-time voters.
